Common Conditions We Treat
Conditions we commonly treat but are not limited to.
Patients with headache symptoms typically respond favorably to chiropractic care! Decreasing muscle tightness at the base of the head and in the neck is essential in improving headaches. We utilize myofascial release, trigger point therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue massage, and chiropractic adjustments to treat headache symptoms.
Our primary focus is pain control using manual therapies to reduce neck muscle dysfunction. Our therapies for neck pain include myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, Graston, Active Release Technique, and joint manipulation. Cervical traction may also be included in treatment for neck pain if indicated.
Restoration Health & Chiropractic specializes in the treatment of all muscle conditions including low back pain. Our primary focus for low back pain is pain control using manual therapy to reduce muscle dysfunction. These techniques include myofascial release, Graston, trigger-point therapy, Active Release Technique, and joint manipulation. These techniques work alongside many other medical interventions for low back pain including physical therapy, steroid injections and laser therapy to speed healing time and reduce incidence of recurrence. A home exercise program is also implemented for low back pain patients to reduce pain recurrence and improve joint mobility.
Plantar Fasciitis is foot pain that can cause limitations and pain in a variety of activities including running, walking, and standing. Restoration Health & Chiropractic uses pain rehabilitation techniques including myofascial release, Graston, and Active Release Technique to treat Plantar Fasciitis. These techniques work alongside many other medical interventions for Plantar Fasciitis including physical therapy, corticosteroid injections and laser therapy to speed healing time and reduce incidence of recurrence. A home exercise program for Plantar Fasciitis patients can further reduce pain recurrence and improve joint and fascial mobility.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is often a chronic condition that happens to people who use their hands to type on a keyboard frequently. This chronic use of muscles in the forearms to make the wrists move causes tightness and knots to occur. We treat carpal tunnel symptoms with Graston, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to relax the muscles, and then we will adjust any areas of decreased movement in the wrist or elbow.
